London City 2

I've spoken to a few people and generally get the same answer so I thought I would throw it out here. Has anyone ever heard anything on London City 2 talk group on Fleetnet?

I heard testing years ago - literally when London City 1 was the first EMS talkgroup used on Fleetnet. When I lived down there, I'd hear the occasional "London call 1181" followed quickly with "1181 you're on City 2, switch to City 1".

I suspect they assumed London would want more than one TG?

They only time I've heard it used was during the big blackout back in 2003. All the EMS supervisors and such were operating on there.

perhaps City 2 is used for redundancy/backup
