While snooping thru the TAFL tonight I stumbled across several new frequencies licensed to 'City Of London Fire Dept'. They are:

866.0125
866.5125
867.0125
867.5125
868.0125

These frequencies are all well within the range used by the City Of London on their EDACS system, so it makes me wonder if a new site will be added to the system (there are currently 3 sites on the system). There has been lots of talk and rumour about LFD joining the City system with LPS and it looks as if it may be true.

Those are the ICALL and ITAC frequencies...common channels used for interop.
Conventional, not part of any trunked system. CTCSS 156.7 is common.

Bah crap. You know... in the back of my head I thought those looked familiar. I wonder why they show up as licensed to LFD now? They didn't in the past.....

I've never heard London Fire on them. The only time I've heard city police on them is during the Western Fair. Why? No clue.

That's where I originally found them too, and it threw me for a loop because they weren't licensed to LFD in the past. Never heard them on any of the I-Tac/I-Call channels in the past.
