Hey guys. I’m trying to get DSD+ Fastlane set up for the London P25 system, but I’m kind of confused. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to set up the DSDPlus.frequencies file, or any of the other ones.
Unfortunately, my RR premium expired the other day and it's going to be a while before I’m able to renew it, otherwise I’d just download the pre-made DSDplus files from there.
Was wondering if anyone could help me to configure the file for myself?

Hey HP,

I am just throwing this out here in hopes this may make it easier for you to listen to London P25. Have you tried Unitrunker V2? Its way easier to setup and use than DSD+

I have a RR account. If there is a file you want me to download, I can do that for you and send it to you. However, Unitrunker is very easy.

DSD+ Fastlane should populate the frequencies file for a P25 system automatically. Tune to the CC frequency and watch it create the list as it sees activity.

Awesome guys. I really appreciate it. I've tried getting UT up and running but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to work. My SDR is an E4000 NeSDR, so maybe that's why

E4000-based chipset RTL sticks don't work well with a bunch of radio software packages, time for a change if you want good results.

You don't need to set up any files. Just run the 1R.bat and the FMP24-CC.bat file (assuming you're using a typical dongle) and manually tune the dongle to a P25 control channel. Trunk tracking will commence. You can add entries for the network name, site names and talkgroup names if you wish, but none of it is required to make things work.

For Fastlane, here is a sample to show what you need to place in your frequencies file.
This sample is from Ottawa.

Bad advice. Entering that data accomplishes nothing.
