was doing some snooping on TAFL, and i came across some interesting entries for the London Transit Comission.

First one is at 72.1000
Second one is at 72.1600

I don't know a lot about radio's, but a quick google search makes me think it is in the Ham range. Any thoughts on what the LTC would be doing at those frequencies. A few thoughts are, maybe they have something to do with the AVL (Automatic Vehicle Locator) system, or maybe for their MDT devices. I have no idea though

It's the sync correction frequencies for wireless clocks.

Ohhh. I was almost wondering if it had to do with those signs at the stops that tell you how long until a bus is supposed to stop there. Thanks Forts for the info :)

Those freqs and a few more are used inn hospitals and other institutions like schools where there is a need or desire to have all the clocks say the exact same time.

TAFL search of 72.00-73.00 will produce a nice list.
