Long Beach Island ?

Hello All,

New to the board, Ocean County is going to the trucked 500 mhz,is Long Beach Island going to the the same,if not what channels will they be using and what pl tones...

The fire departments on Long Beach Island will not be switching over to the County Trunked System. The latest information I have received is that they will use two VHF repeater frequencies : Island Wide 1 - 158.7525, which may round off in your scanner to 158.750, or 158.755, because it is an offset narrow band channel, and Island Wide 2 -158.835. Both are DPL 243. They may be using them now. I believe dispatch is still on County Fire 1 - 33.780. If I receive any updated info I will post it here.
