Does nyone know the system, tones, and duration of each tone for the Long Branch Fire Department. This is what i got...

I believe its a motorola system and the tones are:
1232.0hz
643.0hz
701.0hz

I need to know which is tone A and which is tone B. Also the duration of each tone i heard is important when programing otherwise it wont work. Any hep would be great, Thanks

LB tones

duration isn't very important now a days.
These are Plectron tones.

A is 1232.
B is 643.

standard 2 seconds for A
and 3 seconds for B should work just fine

Thanks for the super fast reply!

I was told that the duration was very important and the duration of the gap between the tones is also important. I am programming Relm rpv599a plus with this info, I'l try your sugestion and see what i can get out of it. Thanks again

This particular radio has a function that enables it to act as a pager. This ends the need to carry your 2-way and pager around. By the way i have only had mine for a couple weeks but this radio rocks!

I work with fire & EMS pagers on a daily basis where timing and duration isn't important. It may be different with your Relm radio.

Well after a few dispatched calls its apparent that the duration and spacing of the tones in the Relm rpv599a plus is important. While my fire pager went off my HT remained silent. I know a few people on this forum have this radio that may be able to shed some light on the topic. Thanks for your help tech792

Just to let everybody know,
I was contacted by this person through a friend and I was unsure of the timing. Once I found out it was in a portable, I then became uncomfortable to give him any information. I tried to send him in the right direction, but I guess the direction I sent him in didn't help. I appreciate you guys helping me give him this information ;)

Ain't no big thing JMR, I have been a firefighter for over 11 years. All I am trying to do is make it so I have one less radio to carry. Sorry to make you feel so uncomfortable...
