I'm glad to read that at least they're not going digital according to the article.

I remember two years ago, Long Branch PD was talking about upgrading to a new narrowband freq. and was testing "Ch. 4" (154.7625) but had radio issues due to outdated equipment. Now it appears that they will be have less interference with the new system up and running by years' end hopefully. I would keep an eye on the BOE freq's as possible PD tac's. You never know if those may be used for PD use "after hours."
