Long shot question....Atascocita VFD?

Anyone down near Houston using a BCD996P2 to monitor the Atascocita FD? I'm programming a new radio for a buddy down there so won't be able to double check that it works before I ship it to him. Just looking for any tips or gotchas with their NXDN trunking system....

Besides the fact that it is short range, if he is not close to the AVFD service area, he may have issues picking it up.

Thanks…he lives in Atascocita proper! Before the move to NXDN he could copy all the freq just fine! Unless they moved the transmitters I’m hoping he’ll be good! Now if I could figure out TGID and tower the HCCO who patrols there uses!
