I have been looking at all the vehicle installs, and there are a good number that have spaced their BCT-15 far away from the remote head. How is this done? Is there a longer cable that can be had?
This would solve many of my install problems.

Isn't is just a stereo 1/8 plug in the back of the control head? Could you not just use a good quality/shielded stereo patch cable to extend it?

Yes, i've done just that and it worked fine.

Just be sure to make the connection tight (I used some electrical tape) so that it doesn't wiggle lose buried in the vehicle trim or wherever.
