Does any one out there know how to program Longueuil Fire Dept (which sites) in a GRE PSR-500, using ARC500 or PSREdit500 software with a RR membership? Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forums. I assume it is the EDACS system provoice/analog and located in Montreal-Metro, QC.

Here is the system and talkgroups for that system and you will see Longueuil

Scroll to the middle of the page.

Scanner Frequencies: Reseau Securite Publique RSP - Montreal (Public Security Network) Trunking System, Montreal-Metro, Quebec

Are you a premium subsriber so you can import the system from RR with the ARC?.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the worm welcome,
I am premium subscriber, and I tried with ARC500 & PSREdit500 but there is very little talk. I used the Montreal site. I wanted to know if that was the wrong site maybe.

I don't know those specific programs. I programmed them by into a Bc296d, bc796d and pro-2096. Yes I have 3 scanners.

I would say to try this site:

030 Pierre-Boucher Hospital (Monteregie) 01 859.81250c 02 859.56250 03 859.31250 04 867.06250 05 866.26250 06 867.76250

It says it is in Longueil.

Hi UHF-LOW,

Here's what I answered in private to another member (Would it be you on another alias ?!?) who asked me a very similar question yesterday. Here's the resume : "If I wanted to program Longueuil fire dept what site would I use.?"

Main dispatch being permanently tie to RSP site # 1, you'll get 80 % of the air traffic. Other to consider, are sites # 5, 8, 26 and 30 especially 8 and 30.

RSP # 1 and 8 should bring you 98 % of the traffic. If you missed too much, then add 30 and 26.

Good luck

RSP # 1 being a simul-cast (3) sites and having one site very close to the south shore on the Montreal side (Surete du Quebec headquarters building) is the main site to listen too.

I listen to it after programming it with Win500 thru RR download and everything is fine. Might need to look at some fine tuning ... Make sure you download all the frequencies and not only a CC (altough it's a Moto option) and FD TG's and check the appropriate option for the wildcard to begin with ... Then, not sure if it has an incidence or not but have you check the "allow 5KHz option" ? I know that for me in some system it did ...

Where is Longueuil EMS? They are not in the RSP Montreal system with Longueuil Fire.
Merci.
Hi rc1990,

Longueuil EMS (Known as CETAM or Groupe Alerte Santé) are using LTR Trunking Systems.
They have 9 "single frequency" LTR sites using the same voice TGID 1-01-001

Depending on your specific location and installation, you should probably be able to monitor at least 5-6 of them. Since your radio will spend almost 3 seconds scanning each and every site, I strongly recommend that you program these frequencies in conventional (instead of LTR).

You will probably catch some occasionnal data burst which occurs every 10 seconds on each LTR channel (depending on the content of your programming and the overall radio activity level) but this method will be a lot faster. Since each LTR site must be programmed separately, if you do program let's say 6 of them in LTR, your radio will spend over 15 seconds just on these systems while it will take less than a second in conventionnal.

Alerte Sante Trunking System, Monteregie (area), Quebec - Scanner Frequencies

I've been monitoring them for many years and I've never actually programmed them in LTR; even when I have 2-3 radios around ...
