171 vy good sig tonight as of right now hr 0135 with Arabic music
just thought I would mention if anybody wants to try their hand at LW?
using just a HF loop and Icom 7610 ...seems like the news is at 0200
but in French (FF) but I think they have some programming in both

I have found a number of LW beacons and of course WWVB at 60 Khz but I have yet to be able to hear the Morrocco station. I have a 250 foot end fed running the parameter of the backyard fence. It works OK at 40 meters, very well at 80, and exceptionally well at 160. My receiver is the SDRPlay RSPdx.

I have it on as of this moment with Arabic music
but nowhere as good as last night maybe later
in the evening...I have a short T2FD 33 ft and cannot
cpy it at all on it only the loop I really luv these HF loops,

Longwave is really fickle band I was just getting all this QRN
tonight on there and realized the boot warmers I had in my
UGGs were causing it unplugged solved! they will have to dry

Billy, you can also try 198 BBC, and 252 Algeria ( which I hear poorly now)
