I just heard on my scanner an ISP supervisor telling a State Trooper to run radar on US 31 today from 5pm - 6:30pm and to write as many tickets as he can during this time. The trooper asked if any of the tickets could be warnings and he was told no.

Gotta pay for that gas bill!

None of the stop lights are synced up, so it's tough to speed anyway.

It's threads like this that ruin the hobby for everyone. Law enforcement gets ticked off when they see their conversations posted, especially when it is about enforcement plans. This is why departments justify encrypting everything. We should be free to listen, but we also have to remember to be responsible.

If the goal is to get motorists to slow down, then they shouldn't mind at all. OTOH, if the goal is to raise revenue, then I can see where they would be "ticked off."
