Look what I found today in Washington County!!!

i saw that on the news the other night they were talking about it when they were doing the practice thing but would not show the inside of it

I could not get close enough, (Nor did I want to risk it) to see inside either.

A friend of mine said the inside is wall to wall communications equipment and seating.

The top of the mast had weather instruments, and a CCTV camera on top.....

When Trooper 5 came into the area, the green beacon on top started flashing.

I thought it was one neat looking vehicle!

the one for FEMA I saw Rt7 around Clark Co VA then on the same day saw it on Rt7 in Leesburg, VA.

Does anybody know where the MSP Comms Van is garrisoned? Any idea on what type of incident it would normally be dispatched?

That Excursion is over a year old. It has a bunch of Kenwood mobile radios and a JPS ACU1000 for starters, the rest is just gravy baby.

During the "Trooper Tour" the Radio Tech said they used it after Katrina to assist with communications. The way he was talking it must be in AA Co.
