Looking at a new scanner suggestions?

I'm looking at a new scanner, what would be the best one to get to listen around adams County In. We are still analog here but Fort Wayne and Wells County is On Saftey Net

I have a Uniden 996, RS 2096, and recently purchased both the GRE 500 and GRE 600. Although really have not had the 500 and 600 long enough to mess with them that much.
I am one that likes to search or keep "open" the TG's. For that reason, due to the unlimited amount of TG's you can alpha tag, I have come to like the GRE the most.
I have my likes and dislikes on all, but so far, have liked my GRE the best.

Adams County is going to be on 800 mhz after first of the year, havent bought that scanner yet whats the best to get for saftey T listening. Just an 800 truncking or do I need digital??

I own( 6 )of the Uniden BC 996 T's and (2) of the Uniden 396T's for my use. The Uniden 996T base/mobile and the 396T handheld will do digital and also analog mode.

The Radio Shack( Pro-106 handeheld scanner) and the( Pro-197 Base/Mobile scanner) are both on sale at Radio Shack for[ $399.99 until 12/25/08] and they both will do Digital and Analog.Both of these radios are made by GRE.These are GRE Radios made for Radio Shack with a Radio Shack model number and the Radio Shack name on the case!
