Looking for a BC-296D or Pro-96 file for NYC

I am travelling to New York for work on Sunday and I am looking for a New York City file for either the BC-296D or the Pro-96.

Actually you need 2 programs; the first is to unzip the file from its compressed format. WinZip is the champ, but there are numerous others.

Then you need the program that fits the unzipped files' format. A .p96 file extension is used for Win96 (Pro96/2096), a .mem file extension is commonly used by the BuTel suite of products, including ARC250 (handles the Uniden digital trunktrackers).

I'm heading to NYC later this month and am looking forward to hearing all the hidden NYC chatter. I have a BC296D, The *.p96 file doesn't load w/ the software I had, so I d/led the WIN96, but I think that is for a different scanner. Is there anyway to convert a *.p96 file to a *.mem file so I can upload it to my scanner via the ARC250 software? or can someone post some NYC PD/FD/EMC files, I'm having a tough time trying to program the Motorolla Type IIi Hybrid with the ARC250 software. I don't see how to enter the fleepmap info. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreacited! Thanks in advance!

Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a .mem file for NYC. I can't vouch for it 100%, but it was good the last time I was there with a scanner (5/2003).
