Looking for a better Antenna

I recently purchased a Whisler WS1040 scanner. I really like it, but I would like a better antenna--I'm looking for stronger a stronger signal. Any thoughts? Mike

Antennas are frequency specific. It depends on which frequencies you are listening to.

I have used a Comet CH-32 on my handheld scanners for over 20 years with great success. It is only 1.75 inches long with an extended receive range of 118-160MHz, 250-290MHz, 360-390MHz, 420-470MHz, 820-960MHz, 1260-1300MHz.

The Radio Shack/Remtronix 800 MHz. is a great antenna at 7 inches especially for 800 Mhz.

The Diamond RH77CA is popular as well however quite long at 16 inches.

the Comet ht55 is a 155/465 dual banded that receives from 108-
960mhz
