• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Does any one know of a host that I can feed my scanner to? No one in the Crawfordsville Indiana area seems to have a digital scanner. So, I'd like to share mine.

Well theres a few websites you can get on and contact the owner of them. 2 of them are on Teamspeak and one of them you can use any application to listen to. I'll list them below...

-http://www.scannerbuff.net --> known as SBN, hosts streams on teamspeak

-http://www.incidentbroadcast.com --> known as IBN, hosts streams on teamspeak

-http://www.livescanneraudio.com/ --> hosts various streams

kb9sst,
I'd be interested in listening to your feed. Please let us know if you get it up and running. Out of curiosity, do you monitor Boone County from Crawfordsville? I know our radios are affiliated with the Crawfordsville tower.

I think I have someone that is willing to put it on a Shoutcast server for me as soon as I get the WinAmp going. I'll let you know as soon as I get it going.

Boone county does come through our tower, but I thought I'd try to limit it to Montgomery county.

Hamilton County Trunking Page for Radio Reference

I can not get this page to print on my desk top or laptop.
Is there a problem with the page.
Printers are working fine for all other pages I have printed.
Thanks
