• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

I’ve got a pair of low band Genesis Series portables (P200 & MT1000) and I need a low band antenna for one (NAB6064B). My go to 2wayradioparts.com no longer carries them and most other places are out of them due to them no longer being made by Motorola. I can wait till one pops up on eBay but that could be some time. Does anyone have a suggestion to a place who may have one in stock. Thanks

Any luck with that? There seem to be no more on ebay.
Yes I contacted them and they have them in stock. It cost me $37.91 total. It's been about a week since I put the order in and just yesterday it was due to be shipped from the warehouse. However the address it shows shipped to is the companies main address so I'm verifying that with them. Good thing I'm no rush.

I too need one but holy crow $38?! o_O
I inherited a low band radio with a slightly bent antenna. I went to bend it back and the antenna snapped in half. Whoops. (Dry rot)

Just got the antenna yesterday and she’s definitely OEM still in the package. Took a little long but oh well. Time to cut it to the 43-45 MHz band, glue to top cap on and put it on my P200!!!!!!!

I have a brand new one bought a year ago, uncut 12 inches and floppy, not old, crusty nor stiff, without bag, with the paper cutting chart. Shall we start the bidding :DThere also the Vertex VX-510L tunable antennas, I have 4 VX-510L portables and they fit the motorolas too, so your not limited to the 6064 but good luck finding obsolete parts

I've got a pair of low bands (P200 & MT1000) so I'm good for now. However at some point I'll be looking for an HT750 & HT1250 "C" split!!!!!!
