Looking for a new base scanner

Hi,
I currently have a Pro96, but Im looking for a base. Im wondering which would be a better buy the Pro2096 or one of the uniden bases? With the unidens do you still have to buy the radio and then the chip thing to put in and get 9600? and which uniden would be best?

First, right now the best digital bas/mobile is the PRO-2096 IMHO. If you have the PRO-96, you can clone right to it or use Win96 (you DO have Win96, don't you?) to DL your file to the 2096.

The digital card is included in the BC796D, which is the latest base/mobile from Uniden. It's also the only Uniden that will do P25 systems (not just P25 voice).
