listen to what everyone is telling you. do the math and spend the money, or get out of the game. if you dont want to do what needs to be done, then you dont need to be doing it. i worked for a communication company for two years and if you cut a corner to save $3, you were fired. there is no room for error in this stuff. a $3000 repeater with a bad antenna is worth $2. if you dont want to do it right, dont do it at all. i want to make my own repeater myself, but i cant afford to do it right. so im not going to..
