Hi guys. Has anyone had any luck finding a reasonably priced installer in the Troy-area to punch a hole in the roof of my 2017 GMC Acadia for an NMO mount? I've contacted a couple of places. One "said no with price" and the others haven't responded. Normally I would do this kind of stuff myself, but with all of the side curtain airbags, I'd like to have a pro do it this time. Thanks!

The battery is under the passenger seat why would you have to go under the hood?

Ummm that is what an emergency vehicle upfitter is
Quite often, Governments use commercial radio companies. If that's an "upfitter," well, OK.

Your not drilling near the sides are you? Not sure what the concern is. As long as you run the cables behind the airbags so in case they pop the cable won’t get tangled you should be good.
