I am needing to join the coax from outside antenna to a connector that fits under the window in order to get it into the house. Any suggestions as to what brand. I see the RG-6 ones on Amazon. Just wanted to see if there were others out there before getting one of those. I am primarily interested in 800 trunking frequencies.

Thanks

Gonna be about a db or so loss at 800 mhz. You should compensate with a good antenna or very good coax down to the window!!!

This is what I'm using for my base radio, dual band ham (144/440). Works great. When I'm not talking the radio scans all the local fire/rescue, police and ems channels. I have had it six years with no problems, antenna is about 40ft above ground and using LMR coax.
