Freescan: looking for free scan download to program uniden

Someone should add the download link to the Wiki. I'm on the road or I would do it.

FreeSCAN doesn't seem to be available on the regular site. The link takes you to sign in on Google Sites. The Radio Reference Wiki needs to be updated.

I am trying to program my uniden portable scanner. I need to download the free scan software. I am assuming that is what I need to do it. Can So(mone) help me find the download please

Also the download link has been in the freescan wiki in the first sentence all along this wiki has been on here.

Agree with a dave2825, my point was the download link is already there.

What scanner? If it's a BCT125 then Nick Bailey's "Scan 125" is great and with the aid of "Scan Convert" you can download the RR data.

i think it is a uniden bcd396XT.
and i also think his system is simulcast.
time will tell.

What model scanner? FreeSCAN should do it. HP1 requires HomePatrol Sentinel.
