Good Evening All ,
I'm new to this " Working Satellites " as a Ham operator so please be nice lol . The app I use is GoSatWatch ( IOS ) I'm also open to any suggestions on a better App , when I open the App up select my current position so many satellites pop up on my screen I won't lie it's very overwhelming . My question is can someone tell me or point me into a direction on what Satellites should I concentrate on " to work " ? like I said I'm new to this I'v watched videos on YouTube Read some articles on the subject but no one mentions what Sats will work.

Thanks So MUCH
Jeff

I'n pretty new too. I just jumped in head first after watching some videos. I am using a Quansheng UV-K6 and an Elk Antenna's 2m/70cm antenna to make contacts. I am moving up to a TYT MD-UV390 and the OPENGD77 firmware that will automatically compensate for the doppler affect on tx and rx.
With my current setup I work the ISS and Satellite SO-50.
The ability to automatically compensate for the doppler affect on tx and rx will give me the ability to work the birds that I need to transmit on 70cm to. IE: IO-91

I have learned a lot from AMSAT and multiple Youtube guys.

these 2 guys go live all the time and are always willing to answer questions in the chat.
