looking for ideas

I now there has been talk about marion county going digital. I was wondering if that has happened yet. I have menstioned before that I have just moved to the area and have two scanners in the shop however they do not have trunking nor do they have digital capility. Is there a repair shop in the area of the airport that i could do to to maybe buy a used scanner that my be trunked and digital?? Looking for ideas because I don't have the money for a 500.00 dallar scanner.. Any ideas will be a help.

Digital scanners are still pretty new to the market. I bought my BC796d Uniden a year ago January and the price on that website is still the same as it was then. I seriously doubt that you will find even a used scanner for much less than for a new one. Hey, who knows, check ebay and you're local traders post. Never know where you can find a good deal.
