Scanner is working fine, however would like to find a stronger indoor antenna. Any ideas? Something simple thought.

Try a hdtv antenna with a built in preamp. I have a Leaf ultimate flat panel with the included preamp and it works great, depending on where its placed. 73, n9zas

Just be careful with TV antennas because they tend to be directional.

I use a basic telescopic whip antenna that is adjustable in length so I can fine tune it to whatever band I am listening to.

The Leaf ultimate hdtv antenna is omnidirectional and easy to move so directional signals aren't much of a problem when used on a scanner. Hdtv signals are a different matter. 73, n9zas

OP...do you want something in the attic, fed with good quality coax to your receiver? A something attached to the rig? Or as the first response noted, something handy, that works better!
