Fed Freqs Only?

Should I assume since this was posted in the Fed forum that you only want Fed freqs? There is a world of state, county & local govt. traffic to keep you busy otherwise.

Let me know and I can try & help you.

Yes, I can find all the local LEO/FD info I was just wanting the Federal stuff since I do not get up here too often and where I am at I really do not want to be here but it will be I will be here for a few weeks while my son recovers and we( him and I) love to listen to the scanner.

Thanks

You will hear quite a bit of Coast Guard activity as St. Pete is a sector which you noted, and we also have an air-station at KPIE Clearwater/St. Pete airport. You will hear a lot of aircraft like CG 1719 1714 etc and they are mostly C-130 or Jayhawks (blackhawk renamed by CG). You can also hear them setting up their HF guard on 5 megs when they are way out in the Gulf Of Mexico or south of the Keys.

Pretty routine traffic though.....every now and then something exciting happens and they will still xmit in the clear sometimes.
