looking for local help

hi new here so sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i have a bcd996p2 and tried using proscan to set up this scanner, the channels are showing up in the scanner but it says nothing to scan, if anyone in the area can help me set this up i can pay you for your time, i am lost and about to pull out my hair, i bought this scanner as i had a bct15x and one day it just stopped working, all i can hear on that now are cb radios, so i jumped the gun and bought the 996p2, i tried to set up this scanner by hand as i did the bct15x and i still get nothing

Did you assign Favorite List to each group you added.

Yes but I can look at a file made and fix the nothing to scan problem.

Hi, You can also go onto Bearcat Scanner Club(Facebook) and contact Dan Bowman, he's a great guy and will help anyone out to keep them into this hobby. I'm not in your area otherwise I would help you. You can download Freescan into your Microsoft computer or get a paid subscription to Radioreference.com.

I don't believe so, I got it working now after I pressed the quick key ( i feel like an idiot) lol but some how now my #2 quick key isn't working it just beeps, and the town's and counties are all out of whack, like it will say on the display Essex county but with a Bergen county town

Thank you, I downloaded free scan at first, I did pay for a subscription, I think pro scan just looked easier to use

Thanks, yeah but like I said it's all out of whack though, it's pretty annoying lol, not sure what I'm doing wrong
