I was wandering if anyone could tell me, or point me in the direction how I could find the scanner frequency that Mercy One Air Flight helicopter operates on in Mason City ? Since the hospital changed names not that long ago I have not been able to find out. Any help would be Greatly appreciated. Thank You .

It appears that Mercy ONE operates on the Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communications System (ISICS). Look there for talk groups to program.
They're dispatched by phone and you'll hear them mostly on simplex with whoever they're working with or on whatever MercyOne North Iowa is using to receive patient care reports (They're still mostly by radio).
Mercy ONE med flight helicopters are on the ISICS system. As far as I know the way things are set up now is --
Mercy Mason City is AirMed 3 TGID 52204
Mercy Sioux City is AirMed 2 TGID 52202 and
Mercy Des Moines is AirMed 4 TGID 52205.
Mercy Mason City is AirMed 3 TGID 52204

Mercy Des Moines is AirMed 4 TGID 52205.

once you home it to your location. then filter using the type h2t. Now only helicopters will show on the map. I have it zoomed out about 250 miles so I can see Indy to Kansas City with the Twin-Cities on the north. Lots of helicopters tonight.ADS-B Exchange - track aircraft live

MWS, Very cool ! I saw something about the adsb a couple years ago and forgot about it. I thought it might be interesting to check out more and setup a feed as well but I think Polk Co is pretty covered as I remember. I don't find any helos on here and if I'm doing it right I don't see any across the US. That tells me I need to play more. I appreciate this post
Couple of tips. Click on U then it will only show military fixed wing & helicopters.
On the Filters click on the + then enter h2t into the bottom box, the close the filters. click on reset to show all aircraft again
