looking for parts pro 89

Is there a source for parts for the pro 89. I need a battery case cover. The one that it has on my stepfathers old scanner only has the top tab on it. Will not lock in. Using a rubber band to hold it in. I actually need one for my Pro 97 and my 82. Does radio shack have a way to look up parts for their scanners.

All RS parts have to be ordered through the store but can be shipped to your home. Doug (user name - KC5EIB) from TX usually is the best source on here for this.

Not hard on them. Just use my scanners a lot. The 89 I can't say on it. It was my step father's. He has since passed on. I got him interested in scanners a long time ago. He loved to hear what was going on around him. Both of his hands were crippled from polio from childhood. He dropped it probably 50 times and it still works.. I have the lid on it and 3 rubber bands around it. Fixing to get me a Pro 197 on Black Friday.

Hey KC5EIB, where do you get those pictures of the parts? Every time I ask at the local RS they show me some exploded view that is almost impossible to read...................
