Looking for PRO 90 light mod info---BlantonL?????

Ok, just for the kitchen (UHF only) , I want to mod the light on an old PRO 90 to a switch. The ONLY hit I get is this--

Yep! looks like the fearless leader had the mod a few years ago and the page is 404 now.
Anybody (er....hint hint.... ADMIN ) still have a good link?
Or any info??

I guess I could just try & hack at it ....but then I am a bit unsure since it seems like the "wheel" was invented long ago and the tire is way flat by now. (I just can't help the digression folks)

The Pro-90 is the same as the Uniden BC235XLT. Here is a source: mods.dk - Modifications for radioamateur
