I have just started monitoring railroad but I can't really understand what they are saying. They seem to have there own lingo. What does RER mean? I have tried google and found nothing. Anyone maybe have any links to webpages helping a newbie understand railroad lingo. I am also interested in any frequencies anyone might have specific to my location which is Santa Rosa county, FL. I already have the database frequencies:
CSX Railroad 160.32000**
CSX Railroad 160.39500
CSX Railroad 160.78500
CSX Railroad 160.89000
CSX Railroad 161.10000
CSX Railroad 161.37000**
CSX Railroad 161.41500
CSX Railroad 161.52000
**Frequencies I have logged some activity on
I would like to put some names/tags to some of these frequencies. I have heard the Blackwater swing bridgetender on 161.370 but the bridgetender is licensed on about 5 frequencies does he use other frequencies or should I expect to only hear him on 161.370? Maybe someone from this area can help me put some alpha tags to these frequencies and share any frequencies I don't have listed here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You in advance best regards
Tom
