I turned those off years ago. they talk all day and use very bad language.
I don't mind it. I have them locked out on most of my scanners but I have a couple with the iTalks enabled. One of many perks of having multiple units lol

I've always thought that learning how to program your scanner yourself is the best way to familiarize yourself with it and get to know it inside out. Then it is easier to navigate thru the menu to get where you want, edit and organize your Favorites List, settings and options, etc. I don't think anyone here is demeaning anyone for having their scanner programmed for them, it's just painful sometimes to watch someone spend money they don't really have to, you know? We're just watching out for our fellow hobbyists and doing what we can to make things easier for those new to the world of digital scanning. We were all new to it at one time or another, and we all had to ask questions. Helping each other is what it's all about. :)
