I have both greely fire and arvada fire on 453.15 does anyone know the tone pl for these I can hear both from berthoud and would like to have them in there own channels :?
Hey Phil, being that i'm in Arvada and have the AFD programmed into the Pro-2096 and I deleted that above freq. and re-enter it with the DC(DPL)152, was wondering do I have to keep the mode set to DC for DPL or if I was to set it the mode back to FM will i end up picking up Greeley too..Thanks..
Setting the scanner in DC with 152 DPL will allow only AFD transmissions through. If you set it to FM you would hear all activity on that frequency and depending on where you are in the metro area you might hear "Greeley" fire though their signal takes a serious dive 15 miles south of Greeley.
FWIW AFD 453.550 would definately need the 152 DPL code since Weld County is using this former Greeley PD freq for a multi-site continuous carrier MCT data system. I've heard that this has caused some interference issues for Arvada fire.
I'm seriously looking at adding tone info to the next scanlist release since most all new radios have tone/dcs squelch. Yeah I know I'm overdue for an update.
If you have Don's WIN96 program and a PRO-96 or 2096 then this soon to be released update to the metroconventional .p96 should help.
Morning Scanlist I agree a tone column would be very very useful Im surprised by that lac of info on most sites here and by the way what format is your download?? my computer has no clue
