Hello everyone.
I would like to get back into scanning had one years ago really enjoyed it. I would like to listen to granger county and Claiborne county Tennessee. Would like one for home not a mobile. I welcome some recommendations and appreciate any help.

If the database is up to date all ANALOG except THP P25 Trunking
A good Starter BCD996P2 $350 good basic does 90% of the below scanners
A good Mid BCD536 $450 good all around comes with free software and free database updates
A high end SDS200 $650 full of bells and whistles comes with free software and free database updates

BCD325P2 With DMR is a good choice havent used mine since i was issued a APX can head THP and non ENC Phase 2

Grainger has some DMR frequencies, so you'll need to get a scanner that does that, such as a whistler TRX-1 or TRX-2, or one of the newer Unidens (436, 536 or SDS models).
