looking up site id's

is there a website or somewhere that lists who a site id would belong to?
i do a lot of traveling and when parked for the night do a little ded Plus stuff and alot of times
ill run across a nexedge or dmr site that is not listed under the state im in trunked systems on rr

and i would just be curious as to how to find out who the site belongs too

The quickest way would be to search via the frequency and your location. If it is DMR, P25, or NXDN, you should be able to use Digital Frequency Search.

Otherwise, the FCC:

License Search - Advanced License Search

Sometimes DSD+ will decode the over the air station identification, in which case you would have the call sign to search by.

And I'd be pleased if you sent me any success stories.
