But the new tower is going to fall over and kill everyone! And give us cancer! And make all my fruit go bad!

Nope not allowed here. We try to keep it somewhat professional.

Mods like using the padlock when threads get stupid.

I believe only KUSA (9), KMGH (7), and KCNC (4) are coming down. KDVR (31) and KWGN (2) aren't part of the group.

Right. As I understand it, KDVR stays put, but their digital transmitter, currently sitting atop the Republic Plaza Building in downtown Denver will be moved to their tower on Lookout. KRMA, Channel 6, is STILL fighting with C.A.R.E. (Canyon Area Residents for the Environment - reminds me of the Monty Python swordfighting character with all his arms and legs hacked off: "It's just a flesh wound!") which means their tower will most likely stay atop Lookout as well. They had an opportunity to join the consolidated tower, but the legal battles have left that possibility still very much up in the air.

Channel 2 (on Lookout) and Channel 12 (on Mt. Morrison) stay where they are...

Isn't KBDI 12 is on Squaw Mountain?

Last I heard 14, 20 and KIMN-FM are on Mt. Morrison. Since Gannett (9) also owns 20 I would think for simplicity they would move it to the new tower.

There was also at one time mention of moving 20's sister station 3 out of Sterling closer to the metro area before the government decided that anyone getting analog over the air TV is hosed in Feb 2009.
