Loose antenna on Pro 97

I've had my Pro 97 for over a week now and I've noticed the stock antenna is getting easier and easier to remove. The metal connector is wobbley and when it is attached to the scanner the rubber portion will not stand straight. I can hold the antenna by the connector and tilt it to make a gap between the metal & rubber big enough to bite down on a nickle. I have other antennas like it and they are solid & won't wobble. Reception is OK outside and in the house, but aint worth a darn in my van.

I would taka advantage of the warrenty, the antenna shuold be pretty snug on it and if other antennas are tight. Im sure the antenna is covered under the year warrenty
