yup
comparing the 2020 cdf vhf list (dated 4/8/2020) vs the current RRDB for Los Angeles County

--------

from 2020 cdf freq list

155.49 - PL 156.7 - LVN V-2D - (? La Verne FD ?)

156.165 - PL 156.7 - WSC V-3D - (maybe is a typo - maybe should be WCV / West Covina)

-------

other items

RRDB shows 158.805 as both Hawthorne Public Works and El Segundo fireground - ???

RRDB shows 154.355 as Hermosa Beach Parking + Manhattan Beach Parking + Manhattan Beach fireground - ???

155.49 - FCC “Site/Market/Frequency/County Query shows KDB406 for La Verne. RRDB shows no entry. La Verne covered by LA County Fire/EMS.
155.165 - WCV/West Covina is correct.

158.805 - FCC records shows two licenses for LA county
1. KVT887 Hawthorne which agrees with RRDB
2. WQCI940 La Habra Heights
My comments
1. Checking RRDB shows no 158.805 entry for El Segundo
2.If someone can verify La Habra Heights on 158.805 it could be added to the RRDB

FCC query shows Manhattan Beach licensed on 154.355 but not Hermosa Beach. Also licensed are El Segundo, Redondo Beach, South Bay Regional Communications Authority, and Torrance.

158.80500 KTV887 M703 DPLTAC 4D ELS FDEl Segundo Fireground Direct

I beg to differ lol

It just seemed odd to see parking and fire sharing channels

I think that the FCC sometimes allows one agency to allow a different agency to use its channel. Maybe it is called "assignment" of the channel. The FCC apparently has specific forms and procedures to make the "assignment" legal. Maybe thats what is going on here.

But come to think of it - I think the "assignment" should show up in the FCC database.

Maybe El Segundo and Hawthorne signed some sort of intergovernmental agreement to share channels.

El Segundo fire is dispatched by South Bay Regional Public Communications Authority, a joint powers authority based in Hawthorne.

Member cities have for years pooled some frequencies and utilized ones not necessarily licenced to the user city. SBRPCA also holds some licences itself.
