I monitored them on Hemet/San Jac/Cabazon primary (04-041) on the Riverside EDACS system. They also used 154.175 (Support 9) and 155.160 (Search & Rescue).

Arriving somewhere, but not here . . .
I have been all over that peak in my youth, although I always got there the hard way, from the Idllywild side, and walked to the top (with a 40+lb. backpack). There are areas up there where you can get lost and never found.

Good thing they found him so quick. It still gets cold at night that high up, also.
