LOST--- need (want) help

Ok, So I bought a Pro 106 scanner and my head hurts. My experience is a CB handheld and never used. LOL. I need a tutor, (barter- cash) again LOL. One post, yeah right. Ok back to reality. I suppose I will eventually figure things out, but I have one big question. I have the USB cord and downloaded two programs. My question is, will I be able to click a check box to download multiple frequencies from each entity that I want to monitor, with the programs? I am sort of beginning to understand about the ID thingies, with the digital units. Past that, I am lost. My first task is figuring out the terms and where to put the numbers in the unit. I am just hoping NOT to have click in each frequency, even if the program will let me use my mouse. Thanks for any help.

update I was linked to win 500 and actually was able to copy and paste some frequencies into the #1 something and was scanning, not a peep thou. then unplugged everything and seemed to have lost them in the scanner. I call that progress

Thanks for replies, I have been on Markscanners and the Utah page is good. Things seemed to be going well, after going premium. I got some things to download to Win500 but it would not download to scanner. I got a message about an old driver for the brand new cord. This seems strange, since everything else works. It gave an address to go to but I cant find the driver mentioned anywhere on the site. Anyone have a link? It also said my program might be in use by itself ????????

Did you try radio shack site under pro 106 there is technical area listing updates for firmware and drivers.

I went to the RS site. They had a release date of 1/07 on their driver. This is as opposed to the 10/07 date on the disk. My computer says I have the latest. There seems to be no match, on the cable site, for the driver.that the pop-up box had recommended. So being unable to download to the scanner, I am wasting money.
