Lost reception

I just recieved my new antenna for my BC560XLT, I put it all together hooked it up and now I can not recieve anything.?!?!?!?

The 560 may be in a state of shock. Remove antenna and give it mouth to mouth.

I seriously doubt that you can't hear anything - if that is the case, the coax - or perhaps the connector - would be the most logical suspect. If you can't even hear your local NOAA station, it's time to look at the coax and connector, and replace if necessary.

The local noaa comes in clear but I can't hear any low band frequencies
