Lost Trunking Channel

Hey guys. I’m in Edmonton and my scanner was working fine today. All the sudden I stopped hearing any frequencies and on the screen the trunking logo has disappeared. Any idea what could have happened? I literally had it in my cup holder of my truck and it went silent.

It’s a psr 500 and no what is the procedure?

The control channel could have changed, you could have left the coverage area, a site could have down or a hundred other things could have effected your reception of a trunked system. With out more information its hard to know.

Power reset,it pull the power, pull the batteries and hold the power button for at leas 30 sec,reinstall power and power on. I that doesn't solve the problem, then make sure all your data is current, check and make sure you are still able to receive NOAA.

This grecom doesn’t have a power button it’s a twist but I still have weather channels and conventional channels of other agencies.

set up a scan of the band to see if you get anything.
it could be a renumbering of the channels.
