Lots of Static in Warren

I have a pro 96 scanner 2 yrs old past 2months lots of sizzling static sounds before or after they talk,i updated the radio shack fiirmware didnt help.anyone else having trouble?Thanks

No not here. In fact they are the best sounding system I hear. Full quieting a few miles away.

How is your antenna BNC connection? If you change the antenna a lot, they can become loose, and not make good contact with the antenna. How does it perform for other frequencies/agencies?
