Loud Buzz end of Transmission

I have a 996XT and when listening to Redondo Beach there is a loud buzz at the end of the transmission. Sometimes this buzz will last for up to 2 to 3 seconds. Other stations don’t have this loud buzz only the usual noise that comes with un-keying a microphone. I’m wondering if this buzz is unique to the Redondo beach radio system and I just need to learn to live with it or is there a setting on the radio I can set to eliminate the buzz.

Redondo Bch PD (if you are listening to 460.075 pl 71.9) uses MDC1200 signalling at the end of the field units transmissions (Listening to them now and don't hear any buzz sound though). There is nothing you can do to eliminate the 1/2 second sound on a scanner.
