on TG 3888 at about 4:25PM today, I heard someone with an ascent say "hello, hello." next I heard a male say "This is Loudoun County Government, may I help you?" then again "hello, hello." the same male that ID himself as Loudoun Co Government,say "the radio you are using is considered stolen, please drop it off at any fire station or sheriff's office. we would appreciate." nothing else heard after that.
can they lock the radios to one specific TG or disable them if needed? I know someone like a dispatcher can see what radio traffic is coming from.
edit: looks like the 3800's are fire.
