I just heard on the local news out of Baton Rouge reported that
2 officers from Mermanteau were indicted for felony theft (looting)
during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It was learned that there
was 3 officers from the Mermanteau Police Department were sent
to New Orleans to assist with the NOPD and Louisiana State Police
The 2 indicted were accused of stealing merchandize from Sacks
5th Avenue and a boutique in the French Quarter. The third officer
