So... I'm sitting at home with this pathetic excuse for a "winter storm." I am watching WAVE3's new Live Drive camera (Powered by Nucomm... pretty cool... much better than anyone else I have seen doing mobile live reporting).
Anyway... does ANYONE have the right freqs. for Louisville Media. On this live view, I can hear them talking to the newsroom via some sort of radio... can't tell exactly what. Much help appreciated. :)

This comes up at odd times. Sometimes they use it, and sometimes they don't.
Good way to listen to the news, which is playing in the background, and very rarely
do I hear someone making some sort of production comment.
Its up right now. 12:08 2010/01/07

Sky11 chopper
Radioland UHF (Kentucky) Trunking System, Various, Kentucky - Scanner Frequencies
LTR trunking - good luck
setup a wildcard on 463.225 and you will get sky11 along with some
other companies that I do not know their names.
I know I have heard Reed Yadon on these freqs.

Wave remote
161.07
Never heard anything here.

Wish I had more.

Reed Yadon's voice is very distinctive, I can allways tell when he is piloting Sky11. But he uses several TG's

One of them is on 800MHz LTR 857.0125 1-02-031 0r 01-02-032
I believe it's WAVE 3, I can't hear it at my home,
I used to hear Radioland's system occasionally.

If only I could figure out how to program trunked systems. I'm a newb... still haven't figured it out. I'm still on a non-digital model, PRO-2051, and the manual SUCKS. :(

At least you can just plug in the main frequency, and hopefully your scanner allows you to set up an LTR trunk system on the fly. These are both analog.

Enter 463.225, wait for a transmission. At the least you should hear a very short squelch tail every 10 seconds. Once you get a reasonably long transmission, you should see some cryptic stuff on your screen, which will indicate that your scanner knows this is a LTR trunked system. On a 106 at this point I just had to press F3. On a 2051 I don't know but maybe PGM/E.
There are several other frequencies that can entered but this simple setup process will get you up and running.

Ditto for this LTR 857.0125

Reed is up in the copter right now. 12:41 2010/01/08

Good news it will do LTR fine,
Mark's Scanners

Try this link for an easier manual, I think your scanner is roughly equivalent to the BCT-8
