love my new GRE PSR800

I got my psr800 a few weeks ago. I really like the looks of it, the design and cosmetics, etc. It does take some exploring to figure it out. I would advise anyone getting one to read the operating manual first before posting that you have problems. It's not quite as simple as "one touch" scanning but once you figure out how to program it, it really is powerful because instead of using the hit and miss, hoping to find random frequencies method, it has them all for you on your 2gb sd card. Later.

I ordered mine yesterday. I can't wait either. I am replacing my old PRO528 since the local PD went digital P25 on me. At least they say they are not encrypted and I can still listen to them.

Thanks Dan greatly appreciated, I am trying to find a scanner (digital) that covers the 764 to 829 mhz with no breaks. The scanner specs say it covers that band but it doesn't say that there is frequency blockage in the band covered.

Got mine for Chritmas and LOVE it! Go to Wal-Mart and get some clear plastic screen protectors for the display window. Many others have commented that the window scratches easily and I did not take any chances. They have packs of these there that can be cut down for under $6 bucks.
