I think it is something one of the database administrators came up with that probably means "south emergency" based on the talkgroup description. I do not think that anyone calls it that in the real world. Since it was labelled as Mayday South, it was probably used for emergency buttons and maybe mayday situations at a scene. You should probably have it programmed if you are interested in listening to fire traffic in case they still use it for that.
